Kolhapuri Center

ESTD - 1982

Kolhapuri Centre was established in 1982 in the heart of the citadel of crafts, Lucknow, to introduce North India and the rest of the world to Indian ethnic footwear and it diverse styles and craftsmanship.

Using only the finest quality of leather and fabrics, we have retained quality and nurtured traditional craftsmanship and artisans over four decades. The traditional skill of seamless stitching of the Kolhapuri and the fine hand-worked pieces are organically created and crafted sans any machinery, blending the artisan’s skill with modern designs.

Thus, it is very de riguer to see the trendiest colours of the season—fluorescent yellows, greens and pinks, opulent gold, copper and silver Kolhapuris stand out amidst an array of traditional designs. These go well with both Indian and Western outfits and are a timeless favourite.

But that is not all. Over the years we have expanded our portfolio to include more ethnic styles, making ours a very unique enterprise, a one-stop treasure trove of ethnic footwear. These include exquisitely embroidered leather and fabric nagras and juttis in almost every colour combination and designs imaginable. Sourced from the heartland of Punjab and Rajasthan, these brining in the vibrance of the verdant fields of the Punjab heartland and the earthy sensuousness of the slippery desert sands.
